The unsightly appearance of spider veins -- small red veins on the legs or face -- often makes people feel insecure about their bodies.

Spider veins are tiny dilated vessels so close to the skin surface they are visible. They may be related to hormonal changes or to venous disease, but usually occur in people without either. Spider veins can be safely eradicated with injection therapy (sclerosis) or laser treatment.

Laser requires several sessions and usually is not completely effective without the addition of sclerotherapy. We find that sclerotherapy by itself is usually sufficient. Most patients require 1-3 treatments of 20-45 minutes each.

A consult is usually required evaluate your particular case and examine you, but frequently we can also treat you the same day.
