Botox® Cosmetic, Restylane, and Sculptra are injectible materials which can improve the look of the eyes, forehead and mouth.
Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein which relaxes facial muscles so they no longer contract with such force, thereby reducing their appearance. Dr. de Ramon injects the area of concern with a tiny needle and results are visible after only a few days to a week. Results may last 3-4 months. Restylane is a cosmetic dermal filler which restores volume to skin to correct wrinkles and folds. Restylane is a non-animal based form of hyaluronic acid which virtually eliminates risk of allergic reaction. Restylane can also be used to enhance the appearance and fullness of the lips. Results from Restylane injections last 6 months or longer. Sculptra is a subcutaneous injectible filler used to correct fat atrophy, frequently seen in aging faces.
