If you are a woman with overly large breasts, breast reduction surgery can literally change your life. Many women with large pendulous breasts have a variety of symptoms, some severe, which can limit their activities and quality of life. Breast reduction surgery allows Dr. de Ramon to remove excess breast tissue and reshape the breast so it looks natural but still is appropriately sized for each woman's body type. Symptoms such as shoulder strap grooving/pain, shoulder top pain, upper back pain, neck pain, and recurrent skin break outs below the breast can be dramatically improved. This procedure is one our patients consistently wonder why they waited so long to have.
There are many things to consider prior to having breast reduction surgery by Dr. de Ramon. If you have been experiencing some or all of the feelings below, you may be a good candidate for the surgery:
In addition, there are several musts to consider before having the surgery:
During the consultation, Dr. de Ramon will discuss goals, review the procedure, perform a physical exam. In some cases, breast reduction surgery is a covered benefit of health insurance plans. After your first visit, our patient care coordinator will work with you to determine if the procedure is a covered benefit and is medically necessary. A second consultation is then scheduled for final questions, a review of the plan, and to select a surgery date. Dr. de Ramon's specially trained patient care coordinator offers personal care throughout the procedure. Once all the decisions are made, the surgery can take place and you are on your way to a more flattering breast size and a better quality of life. More Information: |
