What is the recovery like?

This can cause some discomfort for a few days. Patients should plan to take 7-10 days off work for recovery. Pain is mild and can be controlled with pain medication. There may be some bruising and swelling for up to 2 weeks after surgery. Each patient recovers differently, so Dr. de Ramón will work closely with patients to determine the time for the return to work. Dr. de Ramón has a specially trained medical staff to offer personal care throughout the recovery process. Post-op patients are also given his personal cell phone number to contact him in case of problems or questions.

What is the cost of rhinoplasty surgery?

Most rhinoplasty surgery is not covered by insurance since it deals with the cosmetic appearance of the nose. A cosmetic rhinoplasty performed as outpatient costs between $6500-7600.
