Am I a good candidate for breast lift surgery?
If you are bothered by the drooping or sagging of your breasts, frustrated finding garments that flatter your figure or are embarrassed to wear a bathing suit due to the shape of your breasts, you are a good candidate for a breast lift. You should be at a stable weight and have small to medium sized breasts with good skin elasticity. Women with larger breasts can have a combination breast lift and breast reduction to achieve a beautiful outcome. Patients should be non-smokers.
What is the recovery like?
Most breast lift patients experience mild pain during the recovery period which is controlled with oral pain medication. Patients in the Harrisburg, PA region usually return to work in 3-5 days and are back to most normal activity and exercise in 3 weeks. There are usually no external sutures to remove as Dr. de Ramón uses internal dissolving sutures. This produces far less scarring than older external suture techniques.
Dr. de Ramón has a specially trained medical staff to offer personal care throughout the recovery process. Post-op patients are also given his personal cell phone number to contact him in case of problems or questions.
What is the cost of breast lift surgery?
A breast lift is performed as an outpatient procedure. The cost varies based upon the length of time required for surgery. Fees are separated into physician, facility and anesthesia cost. Total breast lift fees range from $6200-7200. If a patient prefers an implant in addition to the lift for more volume, fees range from $8900-9900
